On the water

Rowing

Over a decade in rowing. Somewhere in that decade, coxing stopped being just a seat in the boat and became the way I think.

The crew & the craft

From UCD to Marlow

I’ve spent over a decade in rowing, as a student athlete at UCD, a full-time athlete at Leander Club, and now training and racing with Marlow Rowing Club.

Leading from the cox’s seat means making sharp calls under pressure, keeping the crew aligned, and translating the plan into something everyone can execute together.

The product

Debrief comes straight out of that instinct: turn raw session data into a short, useful ‘debrief’ the crew actually reads, so the next session is better.

The same translation that connects coach and crew can connect data and decisions — making what happened in a session useful for the next one.
